The Institute is a non-profit registered charitable organisation. The Institute has a National Office based in Wellington and nine branches nationwide. The Institute represents over 1200 members engaged in building controls in both the public and private sectors.

The Training Academy provides relevant, up-to-date quality training and events for building control staff, the building industry, and anyone who is interested in building compliance and quality building outcomes.
These courses offer the flexibility to learn at your own pace, at a time that works for you. Each course takes between 1 and 2 hours depending on your existing knowledge base.
